Talk to Jabber Longwind in Tenebrous Tangle ( -24, 21, 244 ) Copy. When prompted, tell him that the name of the war should be 'The Feathered Fray'.

To progress through this quest you will need to learn Volant, the language of the Aviaks, learned from the quest Words of a Feather.

Use the Ulteran Spire on Vultak Scavenging Site to travel to The Barren Sky. ( 486, 293, -537 ) Copy/waypoint 486.18, 292.74, -536.52
- Although all the Ulteran Spires interconnect, this specific spire must still be used to receive the quest update.
Speak with Jabber Longwind, who is standing next to spire.
Go to The Whisperwind Isle and speak with Graywind the Elder. ( -677, 8, -509 ) Copy/waypoint -677, 8.4, -509
Go to The Cloudmist Isle and strike down The Ghastly Overcast ( -597, 248, -145 ) Copy/waypoint -597, 248, -145. Upon defeat, speak with The Gentle Breeze who has spawned at the same location.
Complete the following tasks in any order:
- Kill Bloodscale breeders for 10 updates on Isle of Awakening around ( 389, 196, 654 ) Copy/waypoint 389.38, 196.25, 653.51.
- Harvest 'blast-filled bedrock' nodes for 20 quest updates, also on Isle of Awakening. These are found around The Drake Breeding Ground and Pool of the Awakened. They look like sandwashed rock (T2 gemstone) harvesting nodes.
- Kill crystalline burrowers for 5 quest updates on Blackwind Isle. ( -491, 125, 439 ) Copy/waypoint -491, 125, 439
Return to the Cloudmist Isle and talk to the Gentle Breeze again. If Gentle Breeze is not there, spawn him in the same manner as before.
Speak with both Graywind the Elder and Creakbeak the Elder to finish the quest.
