This quest is part of the Tenebrous Tangle Timeline.
Starting the Quest
Speak to Archeologian Tydis at the Hidden Shelter in Tenebrous Tangle to get spectacles, then inspect the nearby crates to get his quests. (170, -230, 160)
- If Archeologian Tydis is not present in the Hidden Shelter, then you must free him from captivity. See Free the captive archaeologist for details.
Steps
- Harvest 10 a petrified draconic idol. These are the golden dragon statues that you have probably seen all around Temple Grounds. They can also spawn on other islands (Gazer Isle confirmed).
- It will take some time to find enough idols. It is suggested that you work on other Temple Grounds quests simultaneously, and harvest draconic idols whenever you spot them.
- Return to the Hidden Shelter, and inspect the crate of idols to restock it. You will need the archaeologist's spectacles to inspect it; just hail him if you need one.
- Speak to Archeologian Tydis for your reward.
- This quest can be repeated.
