Emperor Fyst is no longer Epic, and there is no ring event to kill him

Steps[]

Every named NPC in Deathfist Citadel's ramparts, throne area, courtyard, and everywhere else in the zone must be killed before the gate to the arena will be allowed to open.

  • Once you have your raid force inside the arena, make sure the gate stays shut for at least 10 seconds. After that, a person may approach Emperor Fyst to initiate the event. Once the event is initiated, the gate cannot be reopened, even after failure of the event. This means that if you fail, you have extremely little chance at another attempt without leaving the instance and coming back again at a later time.
  1. The first wave
    • Fyst will yell out a command for his gladiators to kill you. Four Deathfist Gladiators (40^^ heroic) will spawn at the four corners of the arena. Kill them.
    • After killing a couple of the gladiators, two to four level 40^^ heroic lions join into the fight. It is not necessary to kill these immediately, but they will be annoying if you don't.
  2. The second wave
    • Once all the Deathfist Gladiators are dead, Dogolka (40^^ heroic) will spawn. Kill him.
    • After killing Dogolka, The Harrower of Zek (40^^^ heroic) will spawn. Kill it.
  3. The third wave
    • Once The Harrower of Zek is dead, Emperor Fyst (41^^^ epic x2) will jump down into the arena and run over to the side closest to where he was standing moments before. If you keep your distance, you do not have to engage him immediately. Kill him to finish the fight and unlock the gate to the arena.
