Journal Steps and Dialogue[]

  • Thekela Gillywump: "I'm sorry about my outburst earlier, [Player Character]. Do you have time for one more task?"
  • Player Character: "Sure, what do you need?"
  • Thekela Gillywump: "Fish! Modo and I both love the Emerald Trout found in the Emerald River to the south. If you could catch us a couple, they would make for some nice comfort food... assuming the orcs haven't ruined that too."
  • Player Character: "Let's hope not. I'll go catch some."

Thekela Gillywump would like me to catch some Emerald Trout.

Something is wrong... the Emerald River is full of black goo! I should collect several of the dead Emerald Trout.

I have collected several dead Emerald Trout. I need to bring these trout back to Thekela.

  • Thekela Gillywump: "Do you have the trout?"
  • Player Character: "Yes, I do. But they're not edible."
  • Thekela Gillywump: "What do you mean? Is something wrong with them?"
  • Player Character: "There's something foul in the water."
  • Thekela Gillywump: "The Emerald Trout were poisoned? Oh no. It must have been the orcs."
  • Player Character: "Yes, it seems so. There's black sludge in the water."

I have given Thekela the trout. I have delivered the dead trout to Thekela.

I have returned to Thekela with the Emerald Trout. Unfortunately the lake was poisoned by the orcs, making the fish inedible.
