Earring of the Solstice Allows the wearer to see expert collections in Faydwer, Kunark, and The Shadow Odyssey zones. Allows the wearer to see hidden tradeskill collections.

What does this information mean?

Master Artisan Red Shinies

As of LU46, characters that have completed The Proof of the Pudding and received their earring can see Master Artisan Red Shinies. Each collection completed from them can be turned in for a reward.

This was later amended to not require wearing the earring, carrying it in your inventory, or even to have the buff effect active to see the red collections! (See talk page)
