• This is an unlimited repeatable quest
• Access to this zone is restricted to those who have completed the The Immortal Pest quest, or are grouped with a character who has completed The Immortal Pest quest in Forgotten Pools zone and killed "Lord Bob" (the final boss with the long name nobody can spell).

Steps

The avatar summoning rituals require the manipulation of immense power and are inherently dangerous. To reduce the chance of failure and provide an anchor for that power, the herald of E'Ci has asked me to collect an item that may have once belonged to that god or one of their most loyal followers

Collect Reliquary of E'Ci from a powerful creature in Hold of Rime: The Ascent chrono dungeon

1. In the Great Divide enter the Hold of Rime: The Ascent at ( 309, -316, 1159 ) Copy/waypoint 308.50, -315.75, 1158.68.
2. Activate the Chrono Dungeons: (Level 130) bauble.
3. As you travel along the corridor note the warning about the slippery floor. On icy platforms and ramps you will continue to move in your current direction of travel until sliding to a gentle stop. Hopefully before you could plunge to your death.
4. Kill Icefang the Cruel on the platform at ( -165, 44, -6 ) Copy/waypoint -165.35, 44.00, -5.91
   • This plaform has an insubstantial Slippery Chest which will require a key mob to open. Note this chest is not physically present so it won't stop you sliding off the edge of the platform.
5. Proceed to Maulhammer's Training Room at ( -52, 67, -200 ) Copy/waypoint -51.79, 67.38, -200.21
   • You will be mobbed and stunned. Use Tishan's Zimaran Rune: Adamant Defiance (Tier 0) or better in the Waist.
6. Activate the control at ( -225, 77, -312 ) Copy/waypoint -224.89, 76.63, -311.52 then walk across the ice bridge that forms.
   • The Ice Bridge is not slippery.
7. Jump up the broken steps to get onto the ramp up to the next section.
8. Kill Forgotten Overseer Brokentusk at ( -448, 116, -310 ) Copy/waypoint -448.47, 116.02, -310.41
9. To enter the next section open the trapdoor in the floor at ( -448, 115, -286 ) Copy/waypoint -448.49, 114.88, -285.53 then jump down
10. Kill Witch Doctor Vuh'Duh at ( -557, 86, -348 ) Copy/waypoint -556.65, 85.93, -348.05
    • This becomes the third boss.
11. Retrieve the the Shamanistic Trident of Undoing from the chest and add onto a Hotbar
12. Return the Veeshan Spike to its container on the far wall
13. Return to the first platform at the entrance to the zone.
14. Initiate combat by changing from an Epic to Heroic, use the Shamanistic Trident of Undoing on Goredeth Maulhammer.
    • "What is this... I don't feel so well... This is your doing! Prepare to die!".
      • Goredeth Maulhammer can appear to be very slow to kill with multiple applications of the Shamanistic Trident of Undoing and/or HOs not having a significant impact on health percentage. Using a low DPS Warden plus Merc health was observed to very slowly drop to 87% then was 0%. (2024-02-19)
15. Loot the Reliquary of E'Ci from the Onate Chest of Goredeth Maulhammer
16. Return to Herald of the Wintry Guardian ( 75, -35, -1687 ) Copy/waypoint 75, -35, -1687 in Everfrost
