Lore
Geography
The vast majority of Cobalt Scar is empty of quests and NPCs, and full of high level (98-101) Heroic^^ monsters. The solo questline is contained to the southeast section of the zone, where the New Combine have set up a field camp they call Salt Breeze.
The New Combine have also established a fortress named Scarstone in the northeast. Not much is going on there, but Dallen Greanleaf offers daily missions for the Siren's Grotto dungeons.
The gate to Siren's Grotto and all related instances is in the northwest corner of the zone at ( -5551, -1086, 179 ) .
Travel
Cobalt Scar is accessed via the griffin station at the Thurgadin docks in The Great Divide, or via the griffin station at the New Combine camp in The Withered Lands.
There is no travel assistance within the zone. Various kinds of flying snakes are scattered throughout the zone at treetop level, making flying less safe than usual. Likewise, drakes fly above the bay.
