Kelethin City Festival
The Far Seas Trading Company is pleased to bring you a traveling festival in which all Norrathians may participate! Each month, a different city is chosen to host this week-long event; Gorowyn, Neriak, Freeport, Qeynos, New Halas, and Kelethin each get a chance to put on their own version of the occasion. So check your calender, make your way to the host city, and join in the fun!
Once a month, from the 1st through the 7th, a different city hosts the City Festival. During the festivities, players can trade-in City Tokens for house items and other rewards. City tokens can be acquired throughout the year by doing City Tasks, or during the event by completing repeatable quests. Furthermore, each host city has a unique postage collection quest from purple shinies found within the city limits. For an alphabetic listing of articles relating to the City Festival, click here.
City Festivals have been on live servers since 2009, but made their first appearance on TLE servers starting from April of 2016.

Festival Merchants[]
These five merchants move with the City Festival wherever it goes:
- Sanya Farshore - General Goods; Her merchandise remains the same regardless of the city hosting the festival
- Chris Weathers - Local Specialties; His merchandise changes based on the city hosting the festival
- Jenni Merrytoe - Fine Food and Drink
- Mystic Margreth - Fortune Teller
- Sussan Swiftneedle - Temporary Clothing Rental
Repeatable Quests[]
Kella Swampfoot offers repeatable quests that reward City Tokens:
- Far Seas Requisition: Special Delivery
- Far Seas Requisition: Special Order Gathering
- Far Seas Requisition: Special Order Crafting - this crafting quest can be a great way for new characters to quickly and easily gain tradeskill experience (XP), no matter which tradeskill they intend to take up; this is because turning in quests typically grants more XP than grinding. Even higher level tradeskill characters can benefit if they have already used up all of their vitality (a limited pool that grants faster XP gain) and they do not want to use up normal materials to complete tradeskill writs and rush orders. Aether Racing[]
Unique Aether Races are available during the Festival for the entertainment of spectators and participants alike. If you complete the race within a certain time limit, you receive a special title. There are six possible titles to earn. See the table below for more information:
