- a Field Investigator: "Just curious. I know you've been ssssseen ssspeaking with Charlesss Arker lately."
- Player Character: "What of it?"
- a Field Investigator: "Defiant, aren't we? Well, [Player Character] -- don't look so surprised, of course I know your name -- there are those who would like more information about Mr. Arker's activities. I am Field Investigator Zherran Tzizzink. Can you help me?"
- Player Character: "That depends."
- a Field Investigator: "This task is not too difficult. His fiance's family would like ssome information. Casually chat up some of the other Freeportians around here to see if any of them say anything. Complete this and you will be rewarded."
- Player Character: "I'll ssee,.. see what I can do."
- a Field Investigator: "Exssssss-cellent."
- Player Character: "I'll be back."
Speak with some of the other Freeportians to see what they've heard about Charles Arker. Speak with Nogg Dreadscar.

- Nogg Dreadscar: "Charles Barker? Larker? Jarker? Nope, never heard of him."

Spoke to Nogg Dreadscar. Speak with Trainer Jayla Surfrider.
- Trainer Jayla Surfrider: "Even the mightiest hero of the Overlord will meet an untimely end on occasion. Let me teach you the consequences of death and how you can recover properly."
- Player Character: "Do you know a man called Charles Arker?"
- Trainer Jayla Surfrider: "Sorry, never heard of him. Did he die recently?"
- Player Character: "Not yet. Thank you, though."
I spoke to Jayla Surfrider. She didn't know him. Speak with Trainer Darg Frostwind.
- Trainer Darg Frostwind: "Greetings, [Player Character]. I've been stationed here at the outpost to teach new recruits the finer points of combat. After all, it's our duty to honor the Overlord by achieving legendary victories in his glorious name."
- Player Character: "Do you know anyone named Charles Arker? He's a very famous hero."
- Trainer Darg Frostwind: "I've trained the greatest champions on this island. I've never heard of anyone by that name."
- Player Character: "Thank you."
I spoke to Darg Frostwind. He didn't know Charles, and never trained him. Speak with Captain Pinious, just inside the tower.
- Captain Pinious: "Hello there, [Player Character]. So you're the new addition to the outpost that we've been hearing about. I've been stationed here by the Overlord to instruct you in ways that you can interact with the world around you."
- Player Character: "Have you met Charles Arker? He's a well-known fellow."
- Captain Pinious: "I've met many great heroes of the Overlord since arriving at the outpost, but I can't recall anyone by that name."
- Player Character: "Thanks anyway, Captain."
I spoke to Captain Pinious, who can't recall Charles. Speak with Chef Gorga.
- Chef Gorga: "Mmm, this stew is yums. Livers!"
- Player Character: "What do you know about Charles Arker."
- Chef Gorga: "Gorga not cook someone by that name. Not yet."
- Player Character: "Thank you. Good luck with your meal."
I spoke to Chef Gorag. She doesn't know him, though she might like to cook him. Speak with Trainer Vella N'Dur.
- Trainer Vella N'Dur: "Come closer if you want me to answer any questions you have about collections or harvesting!"
- Player Character: "Do you know someone named Charles Arker?"
- Trainer Vella N'Dur: "Sorry, but I can't say that I know this person."
- Player Character: "Thank you, Vella."
I spoke to Vella N'Dur, who also doesn't know Charles. Speak with Trainer Corx Knickknack.
- Trainer Corx Knickknack: Good day, [Player Character]. I've been stationed here at the outpost to teach the Overlord's newest recruits about equipment and inventory space. Good equipment is one of the most important aspects of any adventurer."
- Player Character: "Do you know Charles Arker?"
- Trainer Corx Knickknack: "Sorry, never met that person. You should see me about some training, though."
- Player Character: "Thanks, I will check back with you."
I spoke to Corx Knickknack, who didn't know Charles. Speak with Assassin Vamir.
- Assassin Vamir: "The Tunarians won't have many animals to train because of you. Nice works! Return to me if you ever need more mole rats."
- Player Character: "What can you tell me about Charles Arker?"
- Assassin Vamir: "Is he that guy with the bad comb-over?"
- Player Character: "Uh...yeah. Thanks for your time."
I spoke to Assassin Vamir, who says Charles is rather boring. I've spoke with the locals. The local Freeportians had nothing bad to say about Charles. Nothing good, either. Time to tell Zherran Tzizzink the news. Speak with Zherran Tzizzink. She'll probably be lurking near that firepit in the Outpost.
- a Field Investigator: "What have you discovered?"
- Player Character: "Good news, no one has ever heard of Charles Arker."
- a Field Investigator: "Interesting. Charles had been sending word that he is very popular and renowned for his exploits. Well, I suppose a little bragging beats a little infidelity. The marriage will proceed as planned."
- Player Character: "Couldn't happen to a nicer guy."
I've spoken with Zherran.
I spoke with several of the Freeportians here at the Outpost of the Overlord. Charles Arker seems to have left very little impression, even with those who are at the same camp as he is! Guess the lack of luster to his name is not going to stop the wedding plans for him. I can only wish him all the best.
