Rock Crawlers are insects that resemble demonic spiders. They're often mistaken for spiders, but can be differentiated from them by their pronounced jaws and that they only have 6 legs. Their two front legs are equipped with spear-like claws that they use in combat.

As of Rise of Kunark, SoE has begun using the rock crawler model as an alternate for the standard spider model, but in older world content they can still be considered separate races.
