RENEWAL OF RO[]

While on a valiant quest to help the Aerakyn return to their original thread of reality, adventurers find themselves going back to the brutal island of Ro and to the southern half of the flaming desert. Here, with the help of a local tribe of Hizite nomads, they’ll make their way across the unforgiving Raj’Dur Plateaus to explore what is left of the Elddar Empire's cursed city, the long Buried Takish'Hiz, before finding themselves within the renewed Takish Badlandsed into the treacherous Sandstone Delta by the machinations of a notorious foe. They will come face-to-face with Raj'Dur bandits, cursed Elddar, Dunetooth goblins, the Mhyt-moo school of Yha-lei, the Stormfury and Swordfury cyclops clans, the Ortallians zealots of Ro, and other enemies, not to mention the glorious heroes they will team up with along the way.

GENERAL[]

  • Fixed an issue where mounted characters would pop back and forth on their mount at a distance.
  • Power damage reduction is now listed on the character pane under resistances. This display will show the percentage reduction you have, if you have one, the raw value reduction if you have a raw value reduction but no percentage reduction, while the tooltip will display both values.

USER INTERFACE[]

  • Fixed an issue where the concentration UI / bubbles may not display properly when many maintained spells were active.
  • Added comma formatting to numbers displayed in spell and item effects, in examine information.

ABILITIES[]

General[]

  • Updated most abilities to display comma formatted numbers. If an ability still displays numbers in examine, mouseover, or chat text without comma formatting, please bug that specific ability so that the data can be updated for it.
  • Familiar infusion effects will now force your familiar spell to recast itself, to correct an issue that prevented the familiar infusion from taking effect after zoning.
  • The maximum positive Hate Mod has been increased from 150 to 300.

Brigand[]

  • Thieves Guild II will now trigger Organized Crime on hostile ability cast, instead of Accomplice or Partners in Crime. Organized Crime will not stack from multiple casters within the same group.

Coercer[]

  • Corrected a bug that prevented Enhance: Stupefy from adding the damage component on Time-Locked servers.
  • Corrected a display issue on Enhance: Absorb Magic that caused it not do properly display the value of the change.

Defiler[]

  • Fixed an issue where Progenitor Spirit would not transform the Defiler's pet if the pet was summoned after Progenitor Spirit was already active.
  • Progenitor Spirit will now apply its visual effect if the pet was summoned while Progenitor Spirit was already active.

  • Corrected an issue that prevented Bloodletter from triggering if the Shadowknight was in a group with only one other character.

  • Manashield will no longer terminate early in PvP combat.

  • Corrected an issue that prevented Wrath's Blessing from applying its heal increase. There is another issue that is still in progress that causes this ability to cease functioning when it exceeds a certain amount.

Shaman[]

  • Corrected an issue with Ancient Claws that caused it to damage the Shaman's pet.

Templar[]

  • Removed outdated spell prose from Repent.

ITEMIZATION[]

  • Gear found in Kingdom of Sky and Echoes of Faydwer content has been updated to have the appropriate number of stats as expected in each expansion.
  • Removed the incorrect Prestige tag from the Sunbrite Clothwork Pegasus.
  • Void-Tinged Watchman's Breeches - These are no longer invisible.
  • Why We Fight, Chronicle One - Unintended pages, erroneously copied from another book, have been removed.
  • The Ascension Mastery Primer is no longer restricted to a single use, and can now be used to upgrade all of your Ascension classes to level 20.
  • Removed the Lore tag from all guild trophies.
  • Guild trophies may now be placed in both guildhalls and personal homes.
  • Added the Building Block tag to all guild trophies that lacked it.
  • Most item effects will no longer incorrectly benefit from doublecast.
  • Renamed several instances of Inviscerate to Eviscerate.
  • Hunter's Viscious items are now Hunter's Vicious items.
  • Noxious Efflux VIII Journeyman and Expert are now contained in sage 102 essential and advanced recipes, respectively.
  • The Aquatic Bow of Obedience limited pets will no longer use abilities in PvP combat.
  • Most death prevent effects will prevent Bounce Back from triggering at the same time.
  • Corrected a stacking issue with Displacement from the Soulshattering Band.
  • Corrected the level and stat progression of several level 80 and 90 tradeskill apprentice items.

Much like past expansions, raids for Renewal of Ro will be released on a schedule. This time is intended to allow time for things to settle making the raid content more solid and a whole lot more fun not having to deal with any launch day issues going around.

  • Takish Badlands: The Boundless Gulf (Raid)
    • Opening Date: Wednesday, February 15th at 12:01 AM PST
    • Tiers: Five [ Tier III ] bosses and one [ Tier IV ] boss.
    • Requirements: Must have defeated all bosses within Raj'Dur Plateaus and Sandstone Delta raids or have a character on the account who has.
  • Buried Takish'Hiz: Emergence from Stone (Raid)
    • Opening Date: Wednesday, March 15th at 12:01 AM PST
    • Tiers: Seven [ Tier IV ] bosses and one [ Tier V ] boss.
    • Requirements: Must have defeated all bosses within Takish Badlands raid or have a character on the account who has.
  • Sultan's Mahala: Daggers Drawn (Raid)
    • Opening Date: This zone will be available with the first Game Update of 2023.
    • Tiers: Six [ Tier V ] bosses.
    • Requirements: Must have defeated all bosses within Buried Takish'Hiz raid or have a character on the account who has.
