These mobile, intelligent fungi can be found in the caverns of the Splitpaw Gnolls and in several zones of Echoes of Faydwer, as well as the swamps of the Kunzar Jungle.

There are several known tribes of Fungusmen:

• Shroomba in the Shroomba Subterrane and Dyer Mycoria, a cave system off Echo Echo Canyon, the passage from The Nursery to Kelethin in the Greater Faydark.
• Virosinoids in a cave system off the section of the Upper Emerald River between the 2 falls in Greater Faydark.
• Zygomyds in the caverns of Sundered Splitpaw.
• Myconids in the tunnels of Emerald Halls Hollow in The Lesser Faydark.
• Murkbloom on the island containing Behemoth Pond in Nektulos Forest.
• Sporconids (Group) in the Kunzar Jungle.
