Trivia

• The Flying Snakes of EverQuest II are based upon Quetzalcoatl, an Aztec deity. This can be seen clearly in the quetzaneks of Nektulos Forest and the quetzsols of Solusek's Eye.
• In Aztec Religion, Quetzalcoatl, the feathered serpent, was a benefactor god, considered a leader among the deities, that would come back after his departure to take back the empire.
