Overview

City Tradeskill Tasks (also known as Writs) are repeatable quests that can be completed for status points and faction. Each of the starting cities contains 5 controlling factions: One for each of the 4 player archetypes (Fighter, Priest, Mage, Scout) and one faction for the Crafters. These Tradeskill Tasks are given out by the Artisan faction in each town:

• The Ironforge Exchange in Qeynos
• The Coalition of Tradesfolke in Freeport
• Tunare's Pages in Kelethin
• Dark Bargainers in Neriak
• Academy of Logistics in Gorowyn

Tasks come in two 'flavors' -- Work Orders and Rush Orders.

Work Orders: These require you to craft items without a time limit. Each rewards an amount of status based on it's level and +100 faction.

Rush Orders: These require you to craft items under a time contsraint. They reward more status than a Work Order, and also give +150 faction instead of the Work Orders' +100.

Note that you can only have one Work Order OR Rush Order at any given time.

Getting a Tradeskill Task

Kelethin:

• Work Orders: Speak to Pirgetta Maarit inside the Tunare's Pages building ( 460, 91, 331 ) Copy/waypoint 460, 91, 331.
• Rush Orders: Speak to Sannor Vilika inside the Tunare's Pages building ( 463, 91, 332 ) Copy/waypoint 463, 91, 332.

Freeport: Enter any of the Freeport tradeskill instances in the village zones or the Coalition Crafter's Association in West Freeport ( 19, -19, 85 ) Copy/waypoint 19, -19, 85. No outdoor Work Orders / Rush Orders foremen seem to exist.

Gorowyn:

• Work Orders: Speak to Roldok Riz'ri in The Wards ( 2797, 121, 1255 ) Copy/waypoint 2796.69, 121.42, 1255.44
• Rush Orders: Speak to Clazwin Ku'kin in The Wards ( 2807, 121, 1256 ) Copy/waypoint 2806.74, 121.42, 1256.24

You can then chose from three difficulty levels for each type (x is the teir - 1):

• Standard (Easy -- level x0)
  • Work Orders require the creation of 12 of a single pristine item.
  • Rush Orders require the creation of 6 of a single pristine item in a limited amount of time.
• Talented (Medium -- level x4)
  • Talented Work Orders require the creation of 6 each of 2 different pristine items.
  • Talented Rush Orders require the creation of 3 each of 2 different pristine items in a limited amount of time.
• Difficult (Hard -- level x9)
  • Difficult Work Orders require the creation of 4 each of 3 different pristine items.
  • Difficult Rush Orders require the creation of 2 each of 3 different pristine items in a limited amount of time.
