What does this information mean?
This is for access to the Haunted Vault, aka Lower Stormguard Halls, and is required to advance the Signature quest The Stormhammer (Quest) in Kaladim. You can complete it without doing the Stormhammer, but you will need to do it again if you take the series. Completing it prior to doing the Stormhammer series will not give you access to the Haunted Vault.
Steps
- Read the note in a room just down the hallway from the rug, at ( 165,17,-88 )
- Collect a number of items from Kaladim. You need:
- 10 Blasting Juices from brewers in the queens area room (-98,45,-97). This step is by far the longest one, updates from brewers are rare, 3 brewers spawn every ~10 minutes.
- 6 Firework Fungus Dust from mushroom porters, these are the ones that roam the corridors to the mushroom area. Two spawn in Greybloom Farms (-70, 26, -365) and one goes up each of the two path's.
- 6 Grungetalon Blasting Sticks from grungetalon geonanimator goblins three groups found near (52.84, 26.59, -279.91)
- Return to the Black Sun Grizzly Rug and burn it!
- There is now a trapdoor hatch where the rug was. If you are on the Stormhammer Signature series and can speak the Serilian language, then completing this quest allows you to see the note when examining the vault door.
- To get the key to open the vault, go to the waterfall and kill the ring event mobs in front of the waterfall by the bridge. It drops off one of the spectral mobs in the ring event [actual name of mob needed] .
- Once you get the key, return to the room where the bear rug is and right click the vault door to enter the Haunted Vault. (Note: if the bear rug respawned, you can target the vault underneath the rug.)
WARNING: To zone into the Haunted Vault, group members must not be further along on the quest. You will not see the option to enter the vault if any one member has already gotten the 3 subquests. Use invis when zoning in as there are 2 mobs in the room as you enter.
