Prerequisites
- You must be a level 80 Bruiser.
- You will need the following languages: Oggish, Halasian.
- You will need to complete The Trial of Tynnonium.
- You will need 5 Fiery Magma Infusions.
- These are made by provisioners through a recipe sold at the Danak Shipyard in Jarsath Wastes by Eviss Ryiss <Danak Quarter Master> at location: ( -102, -41, 1108 ) . The recipe is no trade, so the provisioner must purchase it themselves.
- You will need an Ebon cluster for the recipe, The Legend of Fyst.
- You will need 50 Ferrite clusters.
Fabled (Group) Version
You must do the following steps first to get some invisible quest flags:
- Go to The Golden Scepter in Maj'Dul. Outside, on the west side, talk to Gulan of the horizon ( 122, 140, -122 ) . Pay him 2 platinum to have Alim tell his story. Listen to it.
- Go to South Freeport, by the door to West Freeport, and hail a Juggernaut taskmaster ( 70, -17, 126 ) . You need to speak Oggish to talk to this guy, which can be bought in Big Bend from Papilius Ahala. Keep hailing him until he says something about the champion being late with the chips.
- Go to the docks of South Freeport and hail a roughhouser champion ( -268, -56, 202 ) . He mentions having to go to 6 places.
- Collect the gambling chips from the bars:
- 3 in West Freeport: ( 217, 4, 152 ) , ( 297, -2, 85 ) , and ( 32, -11, 97 ) (Blood Haze Inn, the bar next to it, and the coalition building
- 1 in South Freeport: at bar ( -212, -56, 151 )
- 1 in North Freeport: at The Jade Tiger ( -79, -10, -68 )
- 1 in East Freeport: on table upstairs ( -233, -48, 13 )
- Now hail the Juggernaut taskmaster again to get the quest.
The Fist of War [85]
- Defeat 6 Dreadnaught Champions:
- Dreadnaught Roughhouser Champion of Freeport ( -270, -56, 201 ) in South Freeport lvl 77 ^ Solo
- Dreadnaught Bonebreaker Champion of Freeport ( 48, -1, -29 ) in Big Bend lvl 80 ^ Solo
- Dreadnaught Intimidator Champion of Freeport ( -70, -19, -316 ) in North Freeport lvl 81 ^ Solo
- Dreadnaught Enforcer Champion of Freeport ( -58, -37, -7 ) in East Freeport lvl 82 ^ Solo
- Dreadnaught Menacer Champion of Freeport ( 288, -3, 44 ) in West Freeport lvl 81 ^^ Heroic
- Dreadnaught Brutalizer Champion of Freeport ( 134, -25, 140 ) in West Freeport lvl 82 ^^ Heroic
- Note: Brutilizer is downstairs. You can't open the cell door. You need to target him and hail him through the bars.
- Return to the Juggernaut taskmaster
- Go to the Blood Haze Inn and find the entrance to Juggernaught Gymnasium. ( 300, -3, 129 )
- Speak to The Big Boss. He'll become attackable. Kill Him. Level 84^
The Broken Fist [85]
Equip Gorynn's Fist you received from The Fist of War and attack something. It will break. Examine the broken remnants to receive the quest.
- Speak with Gurb the Master Weaponsmith in West Freeport.
- Get 50 ferrite clusters and speak with a Dervish craftsman in the Dervish camp in the Commonlands ( 1410, -17, 280 )
- Head back to Juggernaunt Gymnasium and speak with The Big Boss.
- Head to Jarsath Wastes and speak with Borga Rallok in the Skyfire Mountains ( -2345, 230, 1130 ) . Speak with him again when you are ready to fight and he will spawn three level 82 heroic (one is ^) iksar spirit soldiers that are a single group. Kill the spirit soldiers then speak to Borga Rallok again.
- Head to Chardok and make your way down deep into the Chardok Palace to find the four giant stones. See the quest writeup for details on how to reach them.
- First stone: ( 906, -66, 545 ) (library section, circular room with no exit, on the floor)
- Second stone: ( 870, -78, 602 ) (Left room, down passage behind clickable bookshelf)
- Third stone: ( 971, -78, 605 ) (Right room, across from second stone's room)
- Fourth stone: ( 1083, -50, 80 ) (standing against the wall, in room north of Queen's Chamber)
- Next, track down the Guardians of the Four Arms of Gorynn and take their amulets.
- Get 5 Fiery Magma Infusions for this step (see the quest writeup for details). In Everfrost, near Permafrost, head to the island at location: ( 162, -38, -1696 ) . When you step onto the island, Einar McPherson <The Drunken Arm> will appear. Hail Einar McPherson with your 5 drinks and he will spawn as a 82^^^ to 85^^^. Kill him.
- Make a Claws of Fyst (see the quest writeup for details). In the Clefts of Rujark, halfway up a cliff on a ledge at ( -68, 38, -66 ) will be Champion Gorlok <The Arena Arm>. Drop down from the third level to hail him. He will respawn as a 84^^^. Kill him for the update.
- In Fens of Nathsar, on beach north of Field of Bones, click the large bucket ( -985, -400, -2904 ) to receive the sub-quest A Big Fish Bowl. Head to Jarsath Wastes, and hunt sharks and swordfish in the harbor to complete this quest (need 50 of each). Click the bucket in Fens again. A giant (Granitegrip) will walk down the beach and attack you. The giant can be between 80^^^ and 85^^^. Kill the giant for your update.
- Head to The Feerrott back near The Temple of Cazic-Thule. Around ( -1801, -10, 759 ) , you will find Ogg Kryn'Rok <The Stone Arm> wandering around. Hail for quest update (no killing needed).
- Go to Kunzar Jungle and head to empty building at ( 421, 46, -297 ) where The Big Boss (81^^^) will appear when you get near. Hail and go through his dialogue, then hail him again and kill him.
- You must be able to speak Halasian for this step.
- You must have completed The Trial of Tynnonium or the Big Boss will not allow you to fight him.
- Speak to Borga Rallok.
- Go to Chelsith and kill Majora Leviathora. Click the chest in the water in the wall of Majora's pit. Open the chest with the Four Arms of Gorynn to receive Gorynn's Fist.

Mythical (Raid) Version
A Taste of Past Glory [85 Epic] - Multiple Locations
- Talk to Borga Rallok.
- Kill 200 sentient beings. They must be above level 80.
- Return to Borga Rallok.
- Slay Pawbuster in the The Execution Throne Room.
- Return to Borga Rallok.
- Slay the ancient beast, the Leviathan.
- Return to Borga Rallok.
- Slay the dragon, Silverwing in Veeshan's Peak.
- Return to Borga Rallok.
Reward: Gorynn's Fist (Mythical)

This timeline details the quests for the fabled and mythical versions of a class's Epic Weapon. You must be at least Level 80 in order to start/complete this quest line. The Fabled version of the epic requires only completing content of heroic difficulty at maximum, while the Mythical version requires completing several Epic encounters, culminating in one inside Veeshan's Peak. |
