Coming to Norrath with the second wave of gods in The Elder Age, Fizzlethorp Bristlebane created the Halflings and rules over the Plane of Mischief. He is referred to primarily by his last name, but has an endless amount of nicknames, such as King of Thieves, the Master of Mischief, the Prince of Prank, and the Grand Prankster. Bristlebane is the god of fun and mischief, revered not just by his halfling creations, but by many goblins, rogues, and bards. Followers of the Grand Prankster believe in having fun, at the expense of nearly all else. Mischief, pranking, good fortune, jokes and just having plain fun are key tenets of Bristlebane. Spontaneity, risk and randomness are also revered. After all, quite a bit of fun can be had by simply replacing what someone expects with the complete opposite!

While it may be fun to pull some shenanigans on your friend, it's another thing to prank them simply to elevate your own status. Very few of Bristlebane's followers are outright wicked in their desires, but it is best to keep at least one eye on your purse if they are about. Halflings tend to honor Bristlebane through the ritualistic practice of a good prank, while Goblin followers of Bristlebane perform acts of mischief in the name of the Grand Prankster, but also for their own monetary gain.

Bristlebane is a neutral deity, but is an ally of Brell Serilis.
