Encounter notes from the instance walkthrough:
- Note: It's a good idea to either have hotbar spots or macro Paludal Catnip, Upgraded Lucky Horseshoe, and Cat's Eye Agate.
- Use 9 Lives charm before pull.
- He has a knockback; pull him against a wall.
- If you fall into one of the holes use 20 Cat's Paw to get out or use the stone as a step.
- If 'Your Cat's Eye Agate begins to glow!'. Use it to interrupt death touch. Spell "Soul Espionage."
- Use Paludal Catnip Dispels 1000 levels of any hostile effects on group members (AE). Spell "Public Scorn".
- Use Upgraded Lucky Horseshoe grants immunity to most Stun, Stifle effects, and knockbacks. (blue and purple detriment).
Note: He will sometimes cast Public Scorn right before Soul Espionage. Public Scorn must be cleared off to interrupt Soul Espionage.
Additional tip: Make sure to right-click on Upgraded 30 Grit Sand Rune and choose 'auto consume'. If you've died, at any time, make sure to turn off auto consume and reapply it. This item will dispell Brixwald's stoneskin and make him attackable (take damage).
