Interact with a crate on the basement floor of Nektropos Castle, at ( -15, -13, -32 ) Copy/waypoint -15, -13, -32. Examine the received item, a tiny note to initiate the quest.
At least one person in the group needs to have unlocked all levels of Nektropos Castle.
Warning[]
There is a group of Nyth dolls that spawn in the pile of crates to the right of the crate that gives you the quest. It is not a catastrophe if you kill these, but makes things a little easier (see Step 7 below) if you can manage not to.
Steps[]
Go to the basement under Elise's Bedroom. Billy should spawn as you enter. Kill him. ( 49, 0, 75 ) Copy/waypoint 49, 0, 75
Go to the The Game Room at ( 32, 0, 59 ) Copy/waypoint 32, 0, 59 and walk into the room, Billy will now auto-spawn when someone is on this step of the quest.
Note: that on Origins server, you must clear the ghosts to spawn Billy. When they respawn, each group has a chance to be replaced by Billy. this is true of all the further rooms. Respawn timer seems to be 20 minutes.
Go to the the Chapel at ( -36, 0, 53 ) Copy/waypoint -36, 0, 53. Again Billy auto-spawns when you walk into the room now.
Go to the Library at ( -27, 14, 59 ) Copy/waypoint -27, 14, 59. Read a book in the secret area behind the bookcase. It's the book leaning against the coffin at ( -23, 13, 29 ) Copy/waypoint -23, 13, 29. It's written by Everling and he says, "the dolls I need always come to me in the courtyard".
Go down to the center of the main courtyard ( 0, -1, 0 ) Copy/waypoint 0.20, -0.96, 0.40 by the entrance. An NPC version of Billy will spawn automatically. Hail him. The dialogue gives you two options, either give him 5g or yell at him. Give him gold.
Go to the jail and hail the froglok ghoul assassin at ( -24, 0, 29 ) Copy/waypoint -24, 0, 29. He tells you to get something to soothe his soul.
Go to the Library and read the directions on a scroll at ( -22, 13, 31 ) Copy/waypoint -22, 13, 31 in the hidden area; on the standing bowl not the desk. Kill the following monsters:
Archfiend Ivariai, who spawns and attacks as soon as you leave the Library.
Swine Lord in the stables at ( -18, 0, -30 ) Copy/waypoint -17.5, 0.00, -30.00. If Swine Lord isn't up then kill his placeholders and wait for the respawn.
21 Nyth dolls. There are only 21 around 30 dolls in the castle and they do not respawn, so try not to kill them before you need them.
There are six Nyth doll encounters in the zone:
Maltus' bedroom ( -27, 13, -28 ) Copy/waypoint -27, 13, -28. Four spawn by the door and four spawn on the bed for a linked encounter of eight; but they do not always spawn as soon as you enter the room.
Crysta's bedroom ( 55, 14, -84 ) Copy/waypoint 55, 14, -84. Three spawn on the bed. Click on the bed to make them spawn.
in the two basement storerooms, at ( -16, -13, -33 ) Copy/waypoint -16, -13, -33 (where you get the quest starter), and ( -44, -13, -48 ) Copy/waypoint -44, -13, -48 (where you find the Empty Crate Note for War and Wardrobe)
Hallway outside Everling's laboratory ( 157, -13, 10 ) Copy/waypoint 157, -13, 10. Ten spawn in the last two traps in the hallway basement storage rooms( -50, -13, -46 ) Copy/waypoint -50, -13, -46 and ( -21, -13, -38 ) Copy/waypoint -21, -13, -38. (Five spawn in each room.)
Go back to the froglok ghoul assassin at ( -24, 0, 29 ) Copy/waypoint -24, 0, 29 and talk with him.
If you talk past the update he will despawn. Do not click on anything after you receive the update , his respawn is about 10 minutes.
If you fail to kill Everling and respawn at the entrance, you will not be able to get back to him as the entrance to his laboratory locks. You will have to wait until you can enter the zone again to finish the quest.
Inspect the chest in Lord Everling's Secret Laboratory to complete the quest and receive your reward. ( 224, -17, 28 ) Copy/waypoint 224, -17, 28
You do not actually need to kill Lord Everling to open the chest, but he needs to be dead in order for you to interact with the chest.
