Completion of this quest is no longer needed to access The Tomb of Valor, but it is still required to start the The Bone Bladed Claymore.

Kill defiled squires on the level 1, near The Chessboard at ( 42, 5, -84 ) Copy/waypoint 42, 5, -84 until you get:
- 6th page of Squire's Journal
- 7th page of Squire's Journal
- 8th page of Squire's Journal
Return to the librarian.
Kill defiled knights until you get:
- 21st Page of the Knight's Journal
- 28th Page of the Knight's Journal
Return to the librarian.
Kill the following:
- Guard Captain Hess, in the fireplace of the western barracks at ( -72, 5, -160 ) Copy/waypoint -72, 5, -160 on level 1. Placeholder is a defiled knight.
- Lord Androus, near The Chessboard at ( 78, 5, -85 ) Copy/waypoint 78, 5, -85 on level 1.
- zombie handmaidens on level 2 at ( -101, -25, -73 ) Copy/waypoint -101, -25, -73 until you find Lady Chesgard's Journal.
Return to the librarian.
Find the key to The Tomb of Valor on level 1 at the foot of the first statue on your right as you walk down from the zone-in; right next to Sir Valinayle at ( -32, 14, 22 ) Copy/waypoint -31.72, 14.34, 22.22
Enter the The Tomb of Valor from a metal grate on the floor at ( -15, -25, -44 ) Copy/waypoint -14.64, -24.88, -44.19 on level 2 and kill Lord Chesgard. See The Tomb of Valor for details on how to spawn him.
